The 6F50 isn’t junk. I’ll say that upfront. It’s a Ford-GM joint unit and the hard parts hold up fine when treated halfway decently. The problems live in the valve body, the software, and heat. Lots of heat.

Low-Speed Hesitation and the Infamous “Bump”

Front Link Shaft Bracket Failure (2014 FWD)
