This one affects certain 2022 models with the 10-speed and Electronic Transmission Range Selector (ETRS). Same core issue. Valve body wear. Pressure instability. Harsh shifts. Possible wheel lock during downshift events.
GM’s solution? Updated calibration that detects excessive clutch pressure loss and limits gear selection if it sees abnormal behavior. It protects the drivetrain. It doesn’t rebuild it.

The 10L80 is the volume unit. The 10L90 is the heavy-duty version built to tolerate more torque — the Escalade-V’s 682 lb-ft (924 Nm) is not gentle on components.
